Ching's World - Philippines

Ching's World will means the Philippines but it also talks about Cagayan de Oro City. There are many places in the world but the Philippines stands out as a paradise with over 7,000 Edens, a tropical paradise where you can pick your own paradise among the 7,000 islands that comprise it.

So many places

There are so many places to go in this world and the feeling I get is that I will not be able to visit these places that are in my mind in this lifetime. The problem is very difficult to solve because I am so earth-bound and I do not have the footloose quality that makes travelers and tourists go and leave familiar surroundings. I like it where I am and only go somewhere when I absolutely have to. This does not mean that I am ignorant about other places since there are many ways of travelling without leaving your home. One could read about places and look at pictures. Movies and television have more than enough images to bring a distant place to life.

Traveling by proxy has its advantages. You do not have to spend money and you can leave off when other pressing things need your attention and come back to it later without missing page. I have always liked to read and this has bridged the gap between my being earth-bound and my curiousity about other places. Maybe in time I will be able to go a little farther than my books and my television.

There are many places in the world and I would like to visit them all at in my lifetime. That might be nothing more than a pipe dream. One place sticks to my mind and I would like to conquer this place. I'm talking about Cagayan de Oro City, the place and the website. Cagayan de Oro City is nice and easy but I am having a hard time breaking into the pages that I search everyday. Still, it will only serve to make me work harder. Cagayan de Oro City will rise and I will do it. So, I am talking of cyber space which is just as good a place as any. Cagayan de Oro City exists in my mind and in Cyber Space.

Places and spaces

There are some places which stand out in my mind maybe because these are the places where I usually go . I would like to go and visit other places but somehow, always find myself in only a few places in my life. What could be the reason for this? After having lived a number of years, I can honestly say that the number of places that I can go to are indeed limited.
